However one of the drawbacks is the larger size, as I regularly have to work in rather tight enviroments. After finding out I pretty much hated the viewfinder and would never use it, and it was doing more harm than good with its rather large size and rubber eyecup I decided to try removing it. It turns out to be an easy 10min job, so maybe it could give some ideas to others who also find it useless!
One could trim the end of the plastic cover, but I prefer keeping it like that, never know in case a warranty claim had to be made at some point...
