Professional Disc: Bad/Ill. Index
Hi all,
we were shooting with the PDW-700 recently and one time after turning the cam back on, the display read "Bad Index" and the timecode was screwed.
I was initially shocked, but after checking the shot clips in playback, and they were all there and I could view them on the camcorder, I felt relieved.
The DP couldn´t remember if he had shut off the camcorder while it was recording. This was my first guess.
Now we wanted to import the disc using the U1, but couldn´t access it. Pushing it back into the camcorder, it reads "Ill. Index" and the disc can´t be accessed. No more thumbnails like the cam showed on the day of shooting.
ANY IDEAS???? All hints are greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
pat
