XDCAM viewer export settings for Avid
Hello
I apologise if this question seems elementary to many of you, what are the best export settings for using in Avid from XDCAM I have previously been using the MXF NLEs setting in the XDCAM EX clip browser but have found on importing this too Avid Media Composer much colour detail and sharpness within the picture is lost! Does anyone know how this could be the case?
As far as I can figure I am either
A) Exporting the file in the wrong format
B) Loosing data in compressing the file with all these conversions
C) Have the project settings wrong on Avid I ussually select 720 25p and standard rather than DVC HD etc
D) It's something Avid does and I must sharpen and re saturise the image, though this seems bizare
Any light shed on this would be much appreciated, stumbled across this forum 1/2hour ago and it seems fantastic!! Anoter bookmark for my browser for sure.
